If you compared yourself to an animal, what animal would you be?

It would be a whale shark, because it is a majestic beast. They appear to swim really smooth and slow, but in fact they swim extremely fast. They have the possibility to travel very far and dive to almost every depth. This way, they can discover most parts of the world.

I once snorkeled with a few in Mexico and it was one of the best things that ever happened in my life.

You just won a plane ticket with an open destination, where would you go and why?

Definitely Bonaire! It’s a small island where everybody says: “Relax you’re on Bonaire”. Sometimes it’s like time stops there, so you’re just there to enjoy! Walking, sleeping, eating and diving are the most important things to do on the island! There are traffic signs to notify you for wild donkeys and divers crossing the road.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was growing up, I always wanted to be an F16 pilot. But then I got taller and taller, and now I don’t even fit in a jet anymore 😊.

Afterwards I wanted to be in IT, but due to circumstances it was not possible. I started my career as a male nurse in the emergency room, but I felt something was missing… I went back to school, wanting to become a developer, and I found work in the IT sector. So here I am 😊.
